You can add your family (partner and/or children) to your insurance by signing in to My DSS and add them via the menu item Add family member.

The cost for co-insured family depends on the corporate agreement.

Co-insured children are covered until the day they turn 21 years or 24 - depending on the agreement. After this, it is possible to take out a youth insurance, which covers until the insured turns 27 years. You can receive more information about our youth insurance by contacting our Customer Service team by telephone +45 70 20 61 21 or via email sundhedsforsikring@ds-sundhed.dk.

The insurance can be cancelled with a month’s notification by the end of a month and should be done in writing to Dansk Sundhedssikring. You can do this by sending an email to sundhedsforsikring@ds-sundhed.dk.

You always have 14 days to regret your purchase, when you buy an insurance.

If we have sent you a reminder, it may be that you have not paid your insurances in time, that you have changed bank or similar reasons. When a payment for a premium is missing, Dansk Sundhedssikring may cancel your insurance with a 30 days’ notice to the end of the month.

If you leave your job, you have the possibility to transfer your insurance to terms and prices for private customers and without an age limit.

Should you wish to transfer your insurance, you can fill in an online form via the web page Private continuation or by contacting our Customer Service Team by telephone +45 70 20 61 21 or via email sundhedsforsikring@ds-sundhed.dk.

You also have the possibility to transfer your co-insured family, which also will be covered by the terms and conditions for private insured.

As long as the transfer is made within 3 months of the expiration of the previous insurance, the transfer can be made without any exemption of pre-existing conditions. When transfer is made after 3 months, there is a 6 months exemption of pre-existing conditions.

There is no upper age limit on the insurance. If you leave your position, you have the possibility to transfer your insurance to the terms and premiums for private customers and without an upper age limit.

If you are employed with support from a public agency (fleks- eller skånejob) you are covered, but not in regard to the disorder(s) which are the reason as to why you hold your job.

Dansk Sundhedssikring always offers counselling, also in regard to the disorders/injuries, which are not covered by the insurance.
