Option A Reflexology acupuncture, osteopathy and dietician
The option covers up to 10 treatments annually at an acupuncturist, reflexologist, osteopath or dietician. Acupuncture, reflexology and osteopathy are covered in realtion to disorders of the musculoskeletal system. There is no requirement for referral from a doctor and the healthcare team can refer you directly for treatment based on a medical assessment. You can choose which therapist you wish to use. If you wish, the healthcare team can help you to find a therapist.
Option B Physiotherapy without referral from doctor
With this option, there is no requirement for a doctor’s referral for physiotherapy. Based on a medical assessment, the healthcare team can refer you directly for treatment. Treatment is covered in our countrywide, quality-assured network or at a therapist of your own choice.
Option C Addiction therapy
The option covers reasonable costs for prescribed treatment for abuse of and addiction to:
• Prescription medicine.
• Narcotics (intoxicants covered by the Act on Euphoriant Substances).
• Diagnosed ludomania (addiction to gambling).

Option E Private hospital cover
You are guaranteed that an examination and/or treatment at a medical specialist will be initiated within 10 working days in the public or private healthcare system, after we have received and approved your notification. With this option, you can choose that coverable treatment should take place at a private clinic in our quality-assured network. You must always have a valid referral from your doctor. Ultrasound scanning, X-ray examinations and MRI scans also require a referral.
Option F Physiotherapy, chiropractor and physiotherapeutic massage for chronic disorders
The option covers treatment of osteoarthritis or other permanent disorder in the musculoskeletal system with up to 12 physiotherapy, chiropractor or massage treatments per calendar year. Of the 12 treatments per calendar year, a maximum of 4 may be physiotherapeutic massage. Preventive and palliative treatments are also covered.
Option I Psychology treatment without referral from own doctor
The option covers up to 10 treatments per calendar year. There is no requirement for a referral/recommendation from a doctor and the healthcare team can refer you directly for treatment. Treatment is covered in our countrywide, quality-assured network or at a therapist of your own choice.
Option J Hotline for stress and well-being
The option covers telephone counselling by psychologists, psychotherapists or other health professionals with expertise in e.g. stress and well-being. Counselling is covered for employees, managers and co-insured. Counselling is provided regarding e.g. private problems concerning well-being, such as personal crises, children, cohabitation, divorce, lifestyle and addiction, stress helpline with coaching and counselling on reducing stress symptoms, identifying causes, preventive counselling and efforts to tackle mild symptoms of stress, work-related problems such as burnout, dismissal, bullying and conflicts, as well as professional sparring for managers. Telephone counselling is available every weekday from 09:00 – 16:00 and is provided by our quality assured network.
Option L Private hospital cover with no requirement for referral from own doctor
With this option, there is no requirement for a referral from your own doctor for medical specialist treatment when you report the claim. The healthcare team can refer you directly to quick, easy and convenient telephone or video consultation with experienced, cooperating medical specialists in general medicine (corresponding to your own doctor). You are usually offered an appointment within 1-2 working days. If your doctor considers that you subsequently require physical examination or treatment, including image diagnostics by a relevant medical specialist, we will help you to quickly progress with the further process at a hospital or specialist medical clinic in our countrywide quality-assured network.
